RIDING BEYOND THE NORMS

Flying FLINTA*S is a queer skate club focused on creating a space for individuals that are under-represented in the skating community. They primarily seek to include people who identify as part of the FLINTA* group (female, lesbian, intersexual, non-binary, transgender, asexual, and undefined). From beginner skaters, to expert shredders, the Flying FLINTA*S work to create a safe, supportive, and empowered community.

As a fast-growing club, they needed a fresh brand identity as they moved to web and social platforms for a wider reach. The final identity includes fun and playful Y2K-inspired colors and graphics, paired with a gritty vintage photography style that highlights the badass individuals in the group. The visual combination positions the Flying FLINTA*S as a friendly, welcoming and confident skate club.
